What To Expect

Welcome to the biggest kinky Cabaret in the North of the UK

Why Kinky Erotic Nature?

KEN has built its reputation on safety and community. Whilst it is not as large as its London fetish counterparts in the industry, it is the perfect place for novice kinksters to experience their first dip into the kinky lifestyle. The venue means there will only ever be up to 200 guests at the party, allowing for an exclusive and close-knit experience. You have the opportunity to easily meet and greet performers, staff and other guests, without the overwhelming crowds. Our numerous rooms and outdoor spaces also mean you can easily avoid a common nightclub crush.

Unlike the bigger events in the capital, KEN has a no-sex policy, instantly providing a calmer and more relaxed environment for those who are still testing the waters. However should you find you want to explore further what the UK has to offer, our staff will be able to advise.

Should I Come to KEN?

Kink is not for everyone, and it is not inherently for the alternative, so it is important not to come to KEN expecting a Rock Night. KEN is about loving yourself and pushing yourself, dressing to impress and experiencing passion and hedonism, so if you were thinking of coming in the same clothes you wear to your local weekly club, KEN may not be for you. Fetish fashion has grown in popularity in the last 20 years, and whilst KEN may be a good beginner’s event, it is still considered a dirty little secret in the average corporate society. We try to make our events accessible to many, whilst still maintaining the fundamentals of what makes a kink event - including anonymity.

Still curious about coming to KEN? So long as you dress to the nines and pass through security, you will enter through a gold veil into a transformed world! The night is made up of a burlesque show of varying acts, both sexual and humorous, at regular intervals. You can enjoy the Courtyard to drink, smoke, mingle and even dance to the DJ. A body painter and photoroom is available and of course our exclusive manned dungeon space. If you are worried about attending your first KEN event, you can always contact a member of staff through social media, always remember you will be personally looked after.

Do you long to embrace your sexuality? Do you desire freedom to be yourself, your true and most expressionate self? Do you wish to revel in your desires, and learn about kinks, Fetishes, and desires?

Well then KEN is the place for you!

Attending a kink club?

Do you think kink, fetish and swinging are all the same? Do you think black T-shirts and jeans are acceptable attire? Do you think patrons, performers, strippers and dancers are free game to touch? Then we have news for you, you won’t get on well here. Unlike a regular nightclub, there is an exclusive, almost elite understanding of etiquette and decorum for our kink events, both in appearances and actions.

Whilst many kinky events do allow for sexual conduct, KEN does not. We give our guests a foreplay of tantalising enjoyment through the event, a platter of opportunities and experiences that they can take away with them should they wish to venture into darker waters.

KEN returns, ready to continue as Hull’s ‘London-worthy’ fet party.

MAY COVER STORY: KEN – Hull’s quirkily-named fetish party/cabaret night – returns this month after a two-year hiatus. Organised by Valen Vain with partners Kate Sway and Lylia Jane, KEN is set to resume its biannual blend of fetish/play night and burlesque/boylesque shows on May 13. So we asked Kate Sway to give us her insider’s take on an event determined to bring ‘London-worthy’ production values to fetish partying in the north-east. This two-page article includes a full preview of the upcoming night on p2.

Who should come to KEN?

Those with a curiosity for passion and hedonism, are a little on the sexy side and generally searching for their tribe.

We are welcome to adults of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicities, genders, abilities, and sexual preferences. Our view is “so long as everything is between consenting adults, all are welcome within our event.

We do not welcome those who seek to abuse our event or patrons and share an active banning policy with other fetish events in the UK to keep our guests safe from known predators and troublemakers.

It is time to don your most magnificent, most startling, most jaw-dropping attire, to join us once again in our decadent night of hedonism.

Held in the atmospheric Old School House, KEN is a theatre of debauchery not to be missed. For one night we will unveil the lifestyle less ventured, one of indulgence and finery. Explore your senses and desires, and languish in the presence of Gods as they dance and perform.

  • The Cabaret - The Cabaret Risqué is jam-packed and full of phenomenal performers. Hosted by the Cult of Vain's very own Valen Vain. Those with Cabaret and Duo tickets get access to the Cabaret Risqué and the whole Venue.
